SmartFleet — SMS & Messaging Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

1. About SmartFleet

SmartFleet is a freight dispatch platform operated in the United States. We coordinate freight shipments between truck drivers (carriers) and freight brokers (shippers). Our platform uses SMS, WhatsApp, and email to facilitate real-time operational communication between dispatchers, drivers, and brokers.

2. What Messages We Send

SmartFleet sends operational, non-marketing messages only. These include:

  • Load assignment offers and details (origin, destination, rate, dates)
  • Pickup and delivery confirmations
  • Load status updates and schedule changes
  • Rate negotiations and booking confirmations
  • Rate confirmation document delivery
  • Urgent operational notifications

We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages.

3. Who Receives Messages

Messages are sent exclusively to individuals with an existing business relationship with SmartFleet:

  • Truck Drivers — contracted carriers who are onboarded into our dispatch system and assigned to our fleet
  • Freight Brokers & Dealers — business partners with whom we negotiate and book freight loads

4. How Consent Is Collected

Consent to receive SMS messages is collected electronically through our web-based onboarding platform. Recipients must provide affirmative, documented consent before any messages are sent.

Web Form Consent Process:

  • Drivers: During driver onboarding on the SmartFleet platform, each driver is required to check an SMS consent checkbox that reads: "I consent to receive operational SMS messages from SmartFleet regarding load assignments, pickup/delivery coordination, and status updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time." The driver must actively check this box before their profile can be submitted.
  • Brokers & Dealers: When a broker or dealer is added to the SmartFleet platform, they provide their phone number and consent to receive operational messages related to load negotiations, booking confirmations, and rate confirmations through our web form.

Consent records, including timestamp and the specific consent language agreed to, are stored in our system for compliance purposes. No messages are sent to any recipient who has not provided explicit consent through our web form.

5. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on operational needs. Drivers typically receive 2–10 messages per load assignment. Brokers receive messages during active negotiations and booking processes.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

6. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately
  • Contact your dispatcher directly to request removal
  • Email us at info.smartfleetai@gmail.com

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

7. How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us:

8. Data Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are used solely for operational dispatch communication. We do not sell, share, or distribute your phone number or opt-in data to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
